Staff Appreciation Week is coming up, and we’re so excited to celebrate our incredible Meadow Brook staff with a fun “Back to the 90’s” theme!
We have a full week of treats and surprises planned to show our appreciation—from stocking the staff lounge, to a DIY “So tell us what you want…” Lunchables bar, a midweek snack cart, Mix Tape gift card surprises, and a “When I Dip, You Dip” Friday to wrap it all up.

🌿 Earth Day Spirit Week at Meadow Brook 🌎

We’re excited to celebrate Earth Day Spirit Week with our Meadow Brook students! This special week is all about learning simple ways to take care of our planet—while having a little fun along the way.
Here’s what we have planned:
🖤 Monday – Conserve Energy
Wear dark colors and try turning off lights or electronics for an hour at home.
🏡 Tuesday – No School
Take some time to give back—grab gloves and help clean up your neighborhood or a local park.
💚 Wednesday – Celebrate Earth Day
Wear green and pack a waste-free lunch to help reduce trash.
🟡 Thursday – Reuse Day
Wear stripes and think about ways to reuse items—pass along books, toys, or clothing.
💙 Friday – Protect Our Water
Wear blue and focus on saving water—shorter showers and turning off the tap make a big difference!
We love seeing our Meadow Mice learn how small actions can create a big impact 💙🐭
🧦 Recycling Sock Collection Until 4/17

Socks will be sent to Smartwool Second Cut Project to be placed into dog beds or sent to textile recycling for new socks.
Authors in April

The Meadow Brook PTA is proud to once again participate in the nationally recognized Authors in April program, now in its 43rd year of bringing celebrated authors and illustrators to Rochester students.
Our visiting authors will be at Meadow Brook on Friday, May 1, 2026, where each grade level will meet their featured author for an engaging and memorable presentation. These visits are always a highlight of the school year and a wonderful way to inspire a love of reading.
Families who would like to purchase books to support the program and have them signed by the author can visit the Authors in April store on our website.
Order deadline: Friday, April 17, 2026.
Purchased books will be delivered to your oldest student.
We can’t wait for this special day of stories and inspiration! 📖✨
